Recycle Glass Bottles and Jars
WHAT:
- Red glass bottles and jars
- Green glass bottles and jars
- Clear glass bottles and jars
- Brown glass bottles and jars
- Blue glass bottles and jars
But NO:
NO non-container glass, for example:
- NO window glass or glass table tops
- NO light bulbs (Fluorescent Light Bulbs are recyclable, but not with glass)
- NO cups, dishes, pots or pans
WHERE:
- Accepted curbside or at any Emmet County Drop-off Recycling Site in the Mixed Containers Bin.
HOW:
- Rinse bottles and jars
- Remove Lids
- Metal or plastic lids can be recycled with your containers
- Corks should go in the trash
