The 2008 People's Choice Award Winner
Colleen Froats, from Alanson, was selected as the recipient of the Peoples Choice Award for best quilt at this year’s Emmet-Charlevoix County Fair in Petoskey. The Peoples Choice Award is determined by votes submitted by this year’s fairgoers. The quilt took almost 2 years to complete. Colleen works at Bay Bluffs in Harbor Springs and has been quilting for about 6 years. She will receive a plaque and a special ribbon, and the fair will make a donation to the Manna Food Project in her name. |
