You can drop off your recyclables at any of the ten Recycling Drop Sites shown on the map below. Click on any of the blue numbers for details about the location of the drop-site and what materials are accepted at that particular site.

In addition, curbside collection of paper and containers is offered by Harbor Springs, Little Traverse Township, Bear Creek Township, Petoskey, and Resort Township.

1. Mackinaw City: behind the Mackinaw City Schools and the Village Recreation Complex at the corner of Perrot and Pond Streets. The site has bins for Cardboard, Newspaper Plus, Office Paper Plus, Plastics, Glass, and Cans/Foil/Foil Trays.
   


2. Cross Village:next door to the Township Fire Hall at the corner of Levering Road and Oak Drive. This site has bins for Cardboard, Newspaper Plus, Plastics, Glass, Office Paper Plus, and Cans/Foil/Foil Trays.
   


3. North State Road: at the Readmond Township Hall, just off of State Road on Wormwood Road. This site has bins for Newspaper Plus, Plastics, Glass, and Cans/Foil/Foil Trays.
   


4. Robinson Road: where it jogs at Pleasantview Road, across from Jurek's Meats and Grocery. This site has bins for Cardboard, Newspaper Plus, Plastics, Glass, Office Paper Plus and Cans/Foil/Foil Trays.
   


5. Harbor Springs: in the parking lot of Don's Market (formerly called the Harbor Springs IGA). This site has bins for Newspaper Plus, Plastics, Glass, Cans/Foil/Foil Trays, and Cardboard Plus.
   


6. Alanson: in the Village Department of Public Works Yard on Milton Avenue (roughly behind the Alanson General Store). The site has bins for Cardboard, Newspaper Plus, Office Paper Plus, Plastics, Glass, and Cans/Foil/Foil Trays.
   


7. Toski-Sands: behind the Toski-Sands Plaza on M-119. This site has bins for Newspaper Plus, Plastics, Glass, Office Paper Plus, and Cans/Foil/Foil Trays.
   


8. Glen's North: beside the laundry at the west end of Glen's Plaza. This site has bins for Newspaper Plus, Plastics, Glass, Office Paper Plus, Cardboard Plus, and Cans/Foil/Foil Trays.
   


9. Petoskey South:behind Bay Mall, where Bed Bath and Beyond is located. The bins are down behind Dunham's. This site has bins for Newspaper Plus, Plastics, Glass, Cans/Foil/Foil Trays, Office Paper Plus, and Cardboard Plus.
   


10. Springvale Township Hall:on East Mitchell Road in Epsilon. This site has bins for Cardboard, Newspaper Plus, Plastics, Office Paper Plus, Glass, and Cans/Foil/Foil Trays.
    


11. Drop-Off Center:The Emmet County Recycling Center is our "flagship" drop site, with areas to accept everything we take through the program. It's located as the Drop-off Center which also includes the County Waste Transfer Stations and Composting Center. We like to say you can "drop everything" at the drop-off center: Recyclables, garbage, and yard waste all in one stop!
