Thank you for your interest in recycling in Emmet County.

Our program accepts over 35 different materials for recycling.

Most materials are accepted FREE of charge. When there is a fee (generally on bulky or hazardous items), it's noted in the Recycling Guide.

Materials are accepted at ten drop-off sites, which are conveniently located throughout the county. See Where to drop off recyclables for a list of the drop sites and a map showing their locations. Nine of these drop sites are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Curbside collection of recyclables is available to most residents of the following towns and townships:
Bear Creek,
Little Traverse,
Resort,
Harbor Springs and
Petoskey (including Bay Harbor).
