![]() How to Recycle in Emmet County
Thank you for your interest in recycling in Emmet County. Our program accepts over 35 different materials for recycling. Most materials are accepted FREE of charge. When there is a fee (generally on bulky or hazardous items), it's noted in the Recycling Guide. Materials are accepted at ten drop-off sites, which are conveniently located throughout the county. See Where to drop off recyclables for a list of the drop sites and a map showing their locations. Nine of these drop sites are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Curbside collection of recyclables
is available to most residents of the following towns and townships: The curbside service is operated by Emmet County Recycling.
